How to Start Kale from Seed
Prepare a seed tray or small container with loose, well-draining seed-starting mix.
Sow seeds about 0.5-1cm deep, then water until moist but not soggy.
Keep the tray somewhere with enough light — under the right conditions, seeds germinate within 5-8 days.
Once seedlings have 2-3 true leaves, transplant them into a pot or growing bed.
Provide light shade for the first 1-2 days after transplanting to help seedlings adjust.
